John has served on the Board of Directors of the Independent Agents Association of Michigan and Chaired its Personal Lines Committee for five years, as well as serving on various other committees. dishonesty; workers compensation; financial institution bond; inland
marine; and surety bond policies.
William has taught Property/Liability Insurance, Heath Insurance, Life Insurance, Introduction to Risk and Insurance, Commercial Liability Insurance, and Insurance Seminars. He has been awarded the Theodore Dreiser Distinguished Research/Creativity Award and the State Farm Foundation Doctoral Dissertation Award. He is a Chartered Life Underwriter, and a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter. William is a member of the Editorial Board of Standard Publishing’s Risk Management Reports, the Indiana Department of Insurance Agent Licensing Initiative, is the Past President of the Western Risk and Insurance Association, is an Assistant Editor for the CPCU eJournal, and was a panelist at the 2008 American Risk and Insurance Association Annual Meeting. |
